I leave in just a few short days. Hopefully Jenny will have a safe flight and journey :)
Since school ended, I've been busy seeing old friends and spending time with my family before I leave. Doing lots of shopping and trying my best to prepare for the next eight weeks. I've talked to Thor (a director in Senegal) over email a bunch and I've been texting Antoinette every day to see how she is packing...
I really have no idea what to expect when I get there, I've never been to Africa but I'm ready for a completely new and different experience. I'm ready for a change and something that can shake me up and define me.
I think this will end up being both a long and short eight weeks, but I'm sure they will be some I will never forget.
