PROGRAM DIRECTOR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO
Fr. Jean Claude Atusamaso is the founder of the Democratic Republic of the Congo NGO Jatukik Providence Foundation. In 2006, our two organizations initiated the first Ecovillage Living and Learning Center in Kibeti, DRC. This ecovillage has been a pilot model for sustainability in his country. We are proud to have him as our partner and over the years we have worked together to help his people on issues such as eradication of poverty, health, education, conflict minerals and human rights.
Fr. Jean Claude is the founder of Jatukik Providence Foundation that launched the first Ecovillage Living and Learning Center in the DRC. He is one of the most respected and active member of his country who has shown his love and commitment to the people. He is a gem in the international world advocating against conflict minerals and human rights. His efforts have extended far and wide in his country to include education, social entreprise, sustainability, poverty eradication and environmental protection. His work takes him back and forth from Washington DC to the DRC.
