Meet our Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Senegal, Kenya, and Sierra Leone Teams!

ERI has its main AFRICA office located in Abidjan, Ivory Coast under the direction of Dr. Dramane Toure.  He is our Director of Africa. Together we have initiated the first EcoCity for Africa in Cote d'Ivoire that is an African initiative funded by the World Bank.

ERI has been working with Professor Toure since 2005.  He opened the ERI West Africa office in 2006 in Abidjan.  He has been our Director for Africa and has worked tirelessly on designing our CLIMATE ACTION PLAN FOR AFRICA. He is now in charge of the Cote d'Ivoire Climate Change Initiative, heading up the research and implementation programs.

Dr. Ousmane Pame is an educator and community leader. He worked as the resident Academic Director of Living Routes at the Dakar Earth Rights Ecovillage Institute in Senegal. He is the director of an academic program in ecovillages which engage international and local students on rural community projects. 

Gordon Abiama

Mr. Gordon Abiama, born in the town of Odi, Bayelsa State in Nigeria's oil rich region is the leader of the local ERI Odi Ecovillage team that is currently developing a Living & Learning Centre as part of an overall ecovillage project. He has been with ERI since 2004.  He is also the Director of Africa Centre for Geoclassical Economics, a local based non governmental organization that is dedicated to sustainable development practices and eco justice pedagogy.

Francis Kabiowei Udisi

Francia Udisi is a Bayelsa State indigene from Odi, in Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA.  He is a resident in Philadelphia and an USA citizen.  He has been our USA/Nigeria Director since 2006 working directly with Gordon Abiama who is our Director for Nigeria.  His participation and expertise has been instrumental to the successes of our Nigerian projects such as the sending of medical supplies and books worth over $5Million dollars to the Niger Delta. 

Joyce Misoi

Currently holds a position as CEO, Watu Health Innovation Summit Africa (WHISAFRICA). A native to Kenya, Joyce has been a mover and shaker in leadership and empowerment for the African people.  She is currently promoting opportunities in Africa's emerging markets in health, renewable energy, technology and innovation, environment, wildlife. Her aim is to promote Value addition for wealth creation. Ingenuity's has been the driving force behind her work. "Your Change Agent"

Fr. Jean Claude Atusamaso is the founder of the Democratic Republic of the Congo NGO Jatukik Providence Foundation.  In 2006, our two organizations initiated the first Ecovillage Living and Learning Center in Kibeti, DRC.  This ecovillage has been a pilot model for sustainability in his country.  We are proud to have him as our partner and over the years we have worked together to help his people on issues such as eradication of poverty, health, education, conflict minerals and human rights.
